I've been an ESO plus member consistently for years now. I never had to worry about harvested materials taking up space because they always went straight to the crafting bag.

Yesterday I noticed when playing on one of my (relatively new) alt characters that the materials were in my main inventory bag. I had to tell it to "stow materials" which then freed up about half my inventory slots on that character.

Thinking maybe this was something implemented during the recent update or something I just never noticed (which would explain why my inventory is always full), I checked my main character this morning. No luck, turns out I'm just a hoarder. Her harvested materials are still going straight to the bag.

My guess is this is something you can change per character in settings? I just can't seem to find a toggle for it anywhere. Does anyone know why the game makes me stow materials manually on one character but not on another one?
