Did They Nerf Nightblade's Veiled Strike While I Was Away?

I come back and find the veiled strike tool tips says you only gain the 10% damage if you have major expedition.

Inaya1✭✭✭Not really. You gain a +10% bonus to damage when you use this skill while under a Major Expedition, when exiting Stealth and Stealth.
It used to be that this passive is activated when you just stand in your twisting path for example. Only the skill didn't need to be used.
I personally do not like these changes to the nightblade at all, they are terribly stupid. I play all the time on stam nb and enjoyed it, then they took my "surprise attack" spam away from me and now they force me to use wheiled strikes when i playing... ON STAMINA. It still works as a spam ability for me, I had to change the leeching strikes to a mana regen morph and that's it. It seems that with resources everything is relatively in order from such hybridization, but I don’t like it at all, because trash packs now die more slowly. Nightblade's latest updates were already bad, but now they just killed him. My archer spec turned into complete garbage.
I have all classes, but only DK and arcanist and templar(not everywhere) dominate. All the rest, in fact, became completely ineffective as dd. Of course, I like the dk-but not enough to play it most of the time!
Dear zos, I like the idea of hybridization, but it has to make sense! If you're playing as a hybrid, you can effectively use mana+stamina to get powerful combos, but with slightly reduced damage (but normal damage in general), but the pure stamina/mana spec needs to give full damage in order to have choice HOW to play.Edited by Inaya1 on July 1, 2023 8:55AM0 -

"When you leave Sneak, invisibility, or cast Concealed Weapon while under the effects of Major Expedition while in combat, your damage done is increased by [7 / 8 / 9 / 10]% for 10 seconds."
It's anytime you leave sneak/invis OR using it with Major Expedition active.
I think it's a buff because you don't need to plant yourself in Shadow Path to get the buff, but it depends on your build and what you'll be doing.
