✭✭✭✭✭Unfortunatly, outside of adding a couple of slots with a new class, we are not likely to get more slots until they finish the server side recoding and that rework is successful in improving server performance.

✭✭✭✭✭We just got two with the chapter - 1 free, another one on the store. If they decide to add the ability to have more than 20 characters, more than likely the slots will be for crowns just like 9 of the current 18 are.
Create a new account - voila - 8 more characters. Failing that, create characters on your current account but on the other megaserver.______________________________________________________

Good to see the old requests from the community are still being made!
After a 4 year wait, ESO just got 2 more character slots, to accompany the Arcanist class, bringing the total available to 20.
As has variously been explained and debated for years, this is still not enough. There should be enough character slots available, for crowns if need be, in order to have a dps mag, dps stam, tank and healer, for each class + the same for PVP.
This is not just about changing attributes, skills, morphs, gear, it is about character creation and emersion and the fun of theory crafting and levelling a new character.
That is all, you may go about your business.2
