I've done *** Nymic a couple dozen times and I have yet to see the Irrefutable Herald. While I applaud ZOS' effort here, to add variety to a "dungeon", what is the point if you never see one or more of the variations? My suggestion is to code in some sort of counter/balancer, or give us the option of which variation to run.

Confirmed. However, from my exhaustive testing today, it appears that the instance is not "rolled" (random), but instead seems to be on a timed rotation. Doing this solo, I consistently got the same instance every single time until eventually, I got a new instance. I then got that instance every single time until the next "interval". That interval seems to be ~15 mins. Vhogor The Pestilent, then Kynmarcher Strix, then Eater of Secrets.

If one, like myself, is looking for a specific instance to get a cheeve, then this is a pain: not only to get the needed instance, but to rally support to complete it. It's a big ask for your group to wait up to 30 minutes until the desired instance "rotates in".

I got my Bane of Heralds cheeve and no longer need to "game" the instances. But for other cheeve-seekers, this will be a pain point, and an unnecessary one IMnsHO. The whole BN experience is difficult enough. including (especially?) the social dynamics, without this added complication.

To clarify, I'm resetting the instance by leaving and then going back in. The variation is not set when you pick up the quest.
