Werewolf builds for PvE - Weapon damage, crit, etc??

So I run an Orc Warden Werewolf (pack master) stamina build for PvE overland, questing, dungeons, etc. I play mostly solo.

If anyone can explain (or point me to a good reference which does) the differences between weapon damage, critical hit or penetration and how to prioritize which is better for different builds that would be great.

Secondly, I'm considering adjusting my current loadout for a more tank setup as i know this will allow for greater survivability when fighting bosses and from what I've seen doesn't really slow down the time to kill on most mobs by all that much. Any thoughts on a stam vs tank style build for a WW PvE setup would also be welcome.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

Weapon damage is the raw damage and I think the weapon you hold when transforming do carry its stats over your WW form which then affects all your skill's damage and crit/pen

Crit damage is at base +50% damage

Crit chance, no need to elaborate I think

Penetration nullify the corresponding value of the enemy armor, usualy penetration is prefered over raw damage unless you have a tank to keep pierce armor debuff up, you do have a skill that AOE fear with a morh to inflict major breach which is equal to 5.7k pen

Most enemies have armor if its not outdated you can check this

For damage I would more recommend the other WW form, as it give all your light attacks a rather hefty bleed proc, thats is if you think survivability isn't an issue atm

For me, the advantage with Packmaster is the ability to stay in werewolf form for a decent amount of time. The other one is just too short, even in some dungeons.

You need to find other werewolves to play with. With 4 werewolves, you can be in wolf form for an entire dungeon or longer, even without Packmaster. The "class" is built to be played in a pack.
