the elusive access code [SOLVED]

well, I now have a problem with logging in to the game:
this morning out of the blue (still the same password/PC as yesterday) a pop up appeared I should enter the access code that was sent to me via email...
you guessed right, I didn't get any email. Checked my spam folder, added noreply@elder... to my address book. still nothing.

Now, one step to counter that problem is to change the current email address to a new one so that a new code is sent to the new email address the next time I try to log in...
but in order to verify the change an ACCESS CODE is sent to the current email address ... which, you guessed it, I never received. the irony...

I even submitted a ticket (230623-001675), detailing my problem and lo and behold got an almost immediate reply (to my current email address, so it is definitely working) asking me to try the stuff I already tried- which I told them in my ticket :(

I just want to play, please help

    May I respectfully sugggest just trying to log in again but this time explicitly type or copy/paste the EXACT user name and password?

    Sometimes if there's a typo that game error message is fired and, of course, you never receive the email because there is no email associated with the typo-named/password account.

    I generally ignore that error myself because it's invariably a typo at my end - but I do wait 3+ minutes because, since they changed things so you can't log into the other server (pc eu/na), it can be glitchy and fire off a bunch of different, spurious messages; relaunching the client helps with those, too. The only one I don't ignore is 'logging in from new machine' which does send an email.

    Yes, I tried typing UserID/password by hand so to speak… same pop up every time.
    Waited several minutes, even hours, still the same thing… gave up for now which is a pity, losing my daily login reward that way

    Upate:
    the Support team could help me out (they changed my associated email address and now I received the access code and could log into the game again, YAY!)

    Reason (probably) was that my former email address was too uncommon and hence maybe flagged by the system somehow...
    anyway, glad support could help me out - on a weekend! much appreciated
