I'm creating a bow stamblade build and wondering if hunding's or marksman will be better, but I'm not sure if 300 weapon damage is better than 8% flat damage.
Weapon damage:
%buff= 100 x (extra weapon damage) x (1+ total weapon damage multipliers) / (total buffed weapon damage + total stamina/10.46)
If you already have 5000 weapon damage + 30000 stamina without the 5 piece set bonus, (and 20% major brutality is active, 7 pieces of medium armor for 14%, 1 fighters guild skill slotted for 3%):
The 300 weapon damage from Hundings Rage adds:
100 x (300 x (1+ .2+ .14 + .03)) / (5000+ 30000/10.46) = 5.2%
Damage Multiplier
If you have Long Shots active (6% for standing 12m away), Hawk Eye active (25%), Master at arms (6% for a skill like lethal arrow), minor berserk (5%), minor slayer(5%)
%buff = 100 x (damage bonus) / (1 + Hawk Eye bonus + Long Shots bonus + Master at Arms + minor berserk + minor slayer)
The 8% buff from marksman is really more like 5.4%
It’s all the same damage-wise, but at least Hundings would buff your self heals
'Better' is subjective. Raw damage like hundings will affect all skills including healing. Depending on your base damage before the modifier the % bonus will usually give you stronger damage with the skills affected by it. But if your base damage was very weak then it might not.
i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
