So vet 6+?

Ok so I see lot of people talking about vet 6 behing impossible without crowd control. Is that true? Shouldn't a high lvl of armor and a decent healing capacity suffice?

It's not true, you have to be a little more careful but it's not necessary. Some classes can do completely without it. Sorcs (and ult abusing vamps) are probably the most face roll thanks to critical surge but everyone else it's usually a good idea to pack CC and know how to block and interrupt.

That's not necessary. I'm VR6 Templar with 6/1 light/heavy doing the VR8 zone atm and I only use CC when soloing world bosses and some quest bosses.

well by looking at this vid I guess the guy who said he was taking 1/3 of his total hp in damage per hit was exagarating. Im constantly above the sweet cap for armor and while I don't have any CC I overheal most damage taken even in a 1 v 6 in vet 3

I can tell you, that when I got into vet 6+ content in full cloth I was getting one shot if I failed to block a power attack. So it is a little rougher, but still doable.

im armor capped even if im 5 cloth 2 heavy (perma unstoppable) but yea blocking is always important

Ranged mobs are ***. Uwafa's autoattacks were taking out 1/4-1/5 of my health per autoattack, and he just peppers you with them in between waves of 3 zombies with no pause to even recover magicka.

I actually died to his *** autoattacks after I killed the last wave as I was out of magicka and about at half health on that last wave.

So I had to rez and finish him off. It's really aggravating when zenimax's idea of difficulty is pumping up damage and hp by a lot instead of actually using mechanics that value execution instead of forcing you to build to be a selfhealing turtle.
