The skin of course will be attractive to people who own the mount, like it, and want to match it, in the same way that all RL horse riders long to resemble their horses. But the skin will also increase demand for the original mount for those who don't own it.

And the most profitable way to seize on that demand is to stick it in an upcoming crown crate season and hope people don't just drop seals on it. Check again in three months.
