Heavy Attack Bug [PC Patch v9.0.6]

This morning I was tanking some random dungeons and I noticed that my Heavy Attack (sword and shield) kept getting stuck and would keep channeling even after I released the button.
Today is the first time that I've played since the new patch dropped on PC (v9.0.6), and this wasn't happening last week before the patch...

✭✭Having the same on PS4 NA. Playing DPS and arms get stuck in a heavy attack 'wind-up' position. Subsequent attacks register damage but my characters arms remain in the wind-up position for ages.Australian on PS4 NA server.

✭✭✭✭✭Xbox as well. But it is worse than just a heavy attack getting stuck.
It locks into a heavy attack, even when you are just light attacking. I'll be light attack weaving with an inferno staff, when suddenly my character is stuck on a heavy attack. And then, once the heavy attack finishes, all of the skills I pressed before I realized it started the heavy will all fire at the same time.0 -
PrinceShroob✭✭✭✭✭I've heard that this has something to do with your actions per minute. I frequently see this issue when light attack weaving, but did not encounter it on my Necromancer, where I weave notably slower. The forced heavy attack is unlike a normal heavy attack because it plays the full animation regardless of your button inputs, while a normal heavy attack will stop if you stop holding down the button.
When the forced heavy attack begins, you also stop moving, which is a bit unusual, since you can normally move while channeling a heavy attack.0
