Eso needs more variety of places to explore

In the ESO universe we can only explore the lands of Tamriel but why not have the ability to explore secret islands, underwater, space, uncharted territory, and other planets.

The game needs to expand on this.

Not sure what's the point of those really, the lore is 99% made up by zeni and only seem to be "confirmed" back by Beth to be okay and not breaking actual lore stuff of main series games and it's original ideas. So tes lore exploration goes a bit out of the way already.

Zones themselves have nothing to it really but a terrain infested with mobs, there are no real mechanical interactions with enemies nor terrain itself, no interesting traversal methods, maybe you can occasionally press "E" to emote with a nearby dog or something but that's it.

So it's really puzzling to me what's appealing in just a landmass for the sake of landmass to be added when it's clearly not improving in any way and we've not being given any indication of things to change in any way.

You can explore far more than just Tamriel in ESO. In fact, you can do most of the things you just listed. There are a number of planes of Oblivion you can explore to start with.

There is a dungeon that takes place underwater (Graven Deep).

High Isle is quite literally a "Secret Island", and the same goes for Eyevea in the Mages Guild questline.

You literally go to Jode, the moon, in the Elsweyr main quest.

There will likely never be an Elder Scrolls game that will explore other continents beyond Tamriel - that's been stated on multiple occasions by Bethesda Game Studios.

As for outer space... why? Not only would it not fit the genre or established lore at all, but we don't even know if space exists in the world of TES; Nirn is surrounded by Oblivion, which is surrounded by Aetherius. The "stars" are literally holes punched into the fabric of reality by the Magna-Ge; mini bridges to Aetherius. Other planets? The "other planets" are just the manifestation of the 8 Divines.
