Sanctuary set change

I was aware of changes to sets but why the change of the Sanctuary set's orbs to a ring? I really liked the orbs. It fit nicely with my templar healer

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

It was already differentiated from other sets with orbs by color.
ZOs could have at least included it in the patch notes

Same. Hell they could have just changed it to gold or white color like a couple friends suggested. Now I have to go farm Ebon, Hircine or Worm so if I wanna have the mage orb look on my character2 -

It was already differentiated from other sets with orbs by color.

if it was green it was overlapping with the hircine set from selene web then (i have not actually used sanctuary so wasnt sure which color the orbs were lol)
worm cult was blue orbs, hircines from selenes web was green, and ebon was red
from what i heard sanctuary was just duplicating one of those and turns out its hircinesplays PC/NA

✭✭✭✭It’s nice being able to see the range on it but it’s not like you can turn it off like spaulder. It feels very awkward walking around in public with a giant circle around me. RNGeeze✭✭✭I have 2 friends completely put off from playing healer now as the old look was kinda their role identity. They loved the orb aesthetic so hopefully it comes back with a different color as the ring is pretty dull. It’s one of those fun times where you gotta ask why fix something that’s not broken.1 -

Raammzzaa✭✭✭✭✭I don’t mind the visual change. I’m not sure why the range was adjusted. What really threw me is that the text of the fifth line reads “Increases your healing received by 10% for you and up to 11 group members within 10 meters of you”. I would have thought that implied that the radius of the circle around you should be 10 meters, but the circle appears to have a diameter of 10 meters to me. So really teammates need to be not further than 5 meters from me if that’s the case. Heals_With_Orbs✭✭✭A lot of players liked the visual effect from this set, as it's part of the charm.
Aside from that, its a pretty useful visual when in dungeons and trials, as you can easily spot the healer who often wears the Worm / Sanctuary set (blue / green orbs) and the tank whos wearing the Ebon set (red orbs). Particularly handy when its randoms who dont know who anyone is
Well, I'm going to miss my "christmas tree" combo! haha1
