Game freezes a LOT after Necrom release

I ran into a big problem (and my friend too) - right after Necrom release game started freezing every 30 minutes or more, it's pretty random when I do normal activities like quests. But it gets very often when I do Galen volcanoes. Game won't close on it's own, only closing it via task manager will help. Only today I had to restart my game 4 times!!
We both have pretty strong PCs, so this is not a hardware issue. Before update everything was ok.

I'm not sure if anyone else have this problem so please write, if you do. ZOS, please look into this, literally unplayable. : (

upd: tried running my pc in performance mode and, sadly, didn't help at all. definitely something's up with the game.

Have you been running the game in performance mode as a temp workaround?(at most times it helps because I see no use in added fidelity.)

Using the arcanist portal skill is the only crashes I've personally had. I had 8 crashes over 2 days, now i wont use the skill till its fixed.
In fullscreen mode, I had to use windows logoff to close eso. The task manager never pops up.

Same, complete freeze with seemingly nothing out of ordinary happening. Yesterday I was walking around Wayrest, today I was in a dialogue in Apocrypha.

Over last 2 days game froze twice while targeting arcanist gate skill and once while just jumping down on a horse

I exerienced skill (animation) freezes and lags all the time since the update.
Sometimes it‘s just the animation of skills (not even arcanist in my case) and the skill runs properly. Sometimes the skill itself won‘t cast.
Weaving is also very hard these days.

In dungeons we experienced freezes and massive lags at the exact same time, so we‘re certain these are caused from server side.

I have the same. Today in Cyrodiil, shooting a Lethal Arrow froze me. Why isn't there a patch to fix this and other bugs after Necrom's release so far?

We've been getting tons of random crashes in Cyrodiil and our theory is now that it has something to do with mounting a second player on a group mount.

Based upon our recent experiences it either induces a crash (which typically takes out 3-4 players near the group mount) or else greatly increases the chances of a crash occurring.

Yup, I am also getting some freezes entirely out of the blue, even when I am only running towards a survey site.

You could be on to something with that. Dual-rider mounts are being used more by people wanting to help new arcanists stay with the group. Happening while mounted has been part of it for me.

Overall though, since Necrom, the hard crashes in Cyro have been happening a lot more, and with a number of members in the group at the same time. Even when map is not very populated, and not in large keep battles.
