Why bother capping crit chance at 98.5%? Is the percent and a half chance of not critting going to meaningfully effect combat at that point?

Or is that just the calculated figure, and the actual cap is lower? I expected it to be 85%, max.

mechanical acuity set can get you to 100% crit chance (it applies a stacking 20% crit chance up to 5 times)

this build is not using mechanical acuity and is able to achieve nearly 100% crit chance (at least when hitting the trial dummy), the only reason they say "capped" is i dont know if its possible to get any additional crit chance bonuses from where they are at

I had a similar build once on my Khajiit Nightblade. I used Order's Wrath instead of Mothers Sorrow, but otherwise it was the same. ONLY, I could get to 100% crit chance and 100% crit damage on this SOLO build. On a 6mil Dummy, I could parse over 50k dps.
That was cool. But its a fun build, really.

I can currently hit 77k on the trial dummy, although I'm pretty bad with light weaving still

Correct This is all the possible sources of crit chance I could think of.
