If you're talking about Deadly Strike set, it isn't channeled abilities per se, its anything that deals damage over time so Carve would be affected.

Oops, sorry. It affects Stampede (Critical Charge morph) and Carve (Cleave morph) only. I changed my first reply too, prevent any confusion.

The best weapon tree for deadly strike set is dual wield.

channeled abilities are stuff like templars jesus beam, bow ult toxic barrage (this has both a channel and a dot), the soul strike ultimate, and the upcoming arcanist fatecarver ability

stuff with a "cast time" (crystal shards, uppercut, a bunch of ultimates) are not counted as channeled
