[REQUEST] Give us a remove-shine layer color for outfit station

I like a lot of the colors available to dye our costumes and outfits. However, on some items parts can get shiny where I would like to have a no-shiny look (e.g. on the horns of the woodelf heavy armor head). So I would like to have a modifier that I could apply on top of the desired color that removes shine. Would that be possible?

Only if they also add an option to make non shiny shiny!

Why "only if"? What does it take away from you if they only implemented the remove-shine layer?

Doesn't the change material option at the bottom alter some sheen?

    I definitely support that!

Creating a nice costume is a minigame for itself meanwhile and can take sometimes more than an hour. Finding a passable non-shiny supplement for a chosen color seems a little bit like "hardmode" sometimes.

Of course I'm also fine with the reserve option.

And as we are at it already: Would it be possible the our weapons stay sheated when we try different colors with them? I see really no reason why it is necessary to manually resheate them and turn around the char to see the design without weapon enchantments each time.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

There are three (and only three) dyes currently in game that are pure matte, and will make everything end up looking flat (with the benefit of getting rid of most of the shine). Those are the three BG achievement dyes.

I wish ZOS would give us more of those style dyes. Every new dye seems to be a high gloss, and sometimes it'd be nice to have another few pure mattes as well. Especially since the BG dyes are so much harder to get now that you can't choose game mode.

I grinded hard for the green when we had the CTR weekend and it really burnt me out on PvP for months. It is gorgeous though, but still... I'd love more than just the three colors.

There are more than three, I’m pretty sure anequina orange is also matte. Might be others too. That said, I really… really… really want a new matte BROWN dye. Why are they all shiny???

    Agree.

We really need more good matte dyes. Don't get why all the new dyes they add has to be these ultra saturated shiny, two tone metallic sheen monstrosities. They look so out of place most of the time and no npc use them.

Anequina Sunrise is also a matte dye, but it's also so extremely saturated I can't use it on most things. Coldharbour Ash Black is semi-matte. There is also 5 matte BG dyes I think.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

Agree, I don't like how most of the dyes are shiny and want more matte options

By the Eight, YES. I have asked for this more than once. My character does not need to look like she is going to a fancy ball.
I would absolutely LOVE if we could have textures as well as dyes, or effects like rust in varying degrees for armour.

I'd also like this. I was shocked when I saw on PTS that one of the new dyes
the dark purple one, is matte.

Not sure if I should spoiler something like that lol but just in case. But yes PLEASEEEEEEEEEE matte options for dyes.

I'd much rather an option to remove the base colours from outifts and armour so that they dye consistently and the actual colour selected.
