My first pick would be Lillandril in Summerset, but I would also like Skywatch in Auridon, Kvatch in the Gold Coast, and Wayrest or anywhere else in Stormhaven.

Exactly where i live ingame: Earthtear Cavern, Craglorn.
I bought when it was first launched. I had my reservations until last hour, because of its price, but today i'm happy with my choice because i love that place.

Talking it to real life should be hard choice since it is a dangerous zone, with a somewhat distant wayshrine.

Off-topic: I just wish there were a closer wayshrine... all houses should have a small one outside.

I would have picked Valenwood but if I even look at a flower wrong there I'll be ritualistically eaten.

I don't mind snow. The summer would probably be mild. I like the architecture in Solitude and Windhelm. Probably most important, I like to drink. I'd be right at home with my Nord neighbors.

    Cyrodiil
As long as it isn't the most south part (I don't do well in heat, less so humid heat), and it isn't during ESO's timeline with wars and Planemeld I'd go with Cyrodiil. And by Cyrodiil, I mean more as lore describe it and not the bland medieval fantasy land TES4 and ESO is giving us too much of.

Not filled with flora and fauna that tries to kill me—looking at you Valenwood and Black Marsh. I like your looks, but I'd hate to live there. Cyrodiil got nice weather that is not too hot for the most part, interesting places, interesting people, and plenty of places to learn magic!
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

Yes, especially the guild trader in Alinor, Talwullaure. I just love it when she says

Artaeum appears relatively safe and comfortable compared to most other places. There are perhaps less dull places to visit but living in an "interesting" place can be invonvenient.

I clicked then realized it wasn't High Isle, which looks like it has the climate and terrain similar to the Hawaiian islands. I assume it has surf. The old Norman/Germanic castles look pretty sweet, too.

I did chuckle at Cyrodiil. Because who doesn't want to live in a perpetual war zone where randoms kill even harmless questers then teabag them. :D

    Probably Artaeum.

Just as beautiful, if not more so, than Summerset, but without the dangerous wildlife and with Altmer who DON'T have a stick too far up their rears. Plus, if I'm on the island it means I'm part of the Order, which means I get to learn MAGIC. I'd live specifically in my Grand Villa house...
