Bundle of Roots not working

In the "Throne of the Wilderking" quest, the bundle of roots is not working to tunnel under the fire to get to the other side.

I know this was posted some time ago, but I had the same issue so in case anyone else goes looking for a solution:
Instead of using the bundle by clicking "E" on the ground when it promps you, go to the quest item tab in your inventory and click "use" on the bundle of roots from there.

That got it working for me, if still a bit on the wacky side: Moving through the first patch of fire, I came up from the ground in the middle of it and died - was then able to run to the end of that patch as a ghost. Using the bundle from inside my inventory for the second patch of fire worked like a charm though.

After many, many tries, I did get it to finally work the normal way. But what a pain it was. Thanks for this new tip. The next time I have a character get to that point, I will try it out.

Easy way I found is to just die, then use soulstone to rez and run out while you're a ghost.
That's the only way I could get it to work.
