Hi 
I'm currently running through Cadwell's silver and I'm currently in The rift doing the quest in his wake. It says to collect a bucket to put the fires out but I am unable to collect a bucket from the well. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Pheefs✭✭✭✭✭If I remember right, you have to pick up the bucket and THEN interact with the well...
& the bucket should be nearby.

I’m glad you responded about the quest sending you to the wrong well. It was marked on the wrong one for me as well. The true well was on the other side of the area that you’re supposed to put the fires out. Looks like it was never fixed. As I just finally made myself do that quest line.1 -

The game directs you to a well on the western side of the area with the fires, but it is not possible to interact with anything there.
There are, however, two other wells (in the north of the circle, and on its eastern edge) that DO have buckets by them. However, the game does not put quest circles around these wells, only around the western one which has no bucket.
Yes, it is correct to continue reporting in this old thread, for this old bug that has STILL NEVER BEEN FIXED.0 -
LouisaB75✭✭✭Thank you from me too for this thread as I also could not figure out why I could not get the bucket from the well and was at the one that is incorrectly marked on the quest marker. Here is a map showing me at one of the correct wells for anyone else who is struggling with this bugged quest.
