Storm Master change is lazy, uncreative and doesn't fit its name.

Like the title says, this change is dumb.
Yes the live version dmg sucks, the proc condition/duration is actually good. You made Stormfist shock dmg bypass spell resistance, why not do the same for Storm Master or for all stam sets that have a magic type dmg to them.
Storm Master is the only shock dmg stam set besides Stormfist. Their are so many stam sets for fire, 0 for frost yet and now you are taking away a shock set for stam.

✭✭I agree this change makes the set boring. Even though the damage wasnt great. I actually liked using it on my solo builds because it gives a really nice uptime on minor vulnerability on single target boss mobs.2 -
Celestro✭✭✭Yep, I had the same thought process of making stam-oriented sets that deal any Magic oriented damage to bypass Spell Resistance. It was a welcomed change for Stormfist and only made all the sense in the world for Storm Master, especially since they came from the same dungeon.
In a way though, if this does indeed increase the damage of the Light and Heavy attacks like the Undaunted Infiltrator & Unweaver, it does have greater potential at dealing damage compared to the old version even with bypassing Spell Resistance. My only suggestion to really keep the name justified is if it like automatically applied the concussion status effect. Could even scale down the additional damage to Light and Heavy attacks to account for the 8% additional damage brought about by Minor Vulnerability.
What doesn't make sense is this no longer working with Overload but the aforementioned two sets still do (supposedly).Edited by Celestro on July 15, 2020 1:52PM0 -
