The city itself has a fair amount of new assets and the visuals in the city are rather unique. Both the houses the player can visit to steal items in and the the houses you can own feel somewhat unique internally. You do have some nice views off of the coast and some of the newer tech for moving objects is in use. I would however emphasize that the update is more Apocrypha than it is "Telvanni Peninsula". If you travel around on a fast mount, the "Telvanni Peninsula" can feel small if you stick to the main paths but, on an non-upgraded mount without the alliance war speed boost it only feels slightly small.

I have heard that before, I guess what makes me sad about that assessment is two things 1 for one of the two zones to sort of just be reskinned to make room for more apocrypha as the main focus is upsetting because we will not be getting anymore zones this year so I feel like both the telvanni pennisula and apocrypha should have been completely new in terms of look and feel not just apocrypha imo, in simpler words in the past the zones through the year have been well done and new so I wish we got that with both of these zones in necrom since we won’t get another zone this year. 2nd it’s sad that they reused a lot of assets for this zone because it limits the chance we will see Morrowind in the future with a whole new look and feel. To me it feels like them reusing assets like this might mean they don’t plan on revisiting Morrowind again after this release in this game

But from the looks of it it looks pretty much the same as vvardenfell with some height difference and one or two new mushrooms. Is it too similar or does it feel like it’s own?
Well it is similar but as stated, the lack of volcanoes makes a difference. There are a few new mushrooms as well but as far as I've seen the only new biomes are in Apocrypha.

Below includes some light spoilers from my experience on the PTS:A door exists in the northern section of the "Telvanni Peninsula" that would lead to the actual Telvanni Peninsula. It's possible we might see that area or the area around where Dagon Fel was in Morrowind in a future content update.
