On PC you can adjust the color for combat cues and chat channels, this might help with finding contrasts that are better for you? (Apologies, I really don't know a thing about what you need and I'm just trying to make a helpful guess.)

I'm red/green colourblind and did this years ago. Barbie pink for enemy effects and yellow for friendly, so much easier to see than the defaults.

Ah gotcha I guess I’m not than when I see an enemy it turns red for their affect. I don’t remember seeing any green though maybe I didn’t notice it ?
Personally I wish there was another way to signify those things without the colors I find it a little distracting and stressful too look at too much color.

the default colors "red" bad and "green" are not always really the brightest and can get muted out by other effects going on, which is why a lot of people use a really bright color for the bad so its easier to see and avoid
