Unobtainable collectibles

Greetings everyone! I've been familiar with ESO for a very long time, since the beta test, but I've never paid enough attention to the game, even though I always pre-order all the add-ons in deluxe editions, etc. However, I've only played a couple of hundred hours in total over all these many years. But I have a question about collectibles - are the items, mounts, pets, etc., that are no longer obtainable in any way visible in the collections list? For example, Blizzard likes to do this in almost all of their games (I've seen it in SC2 and WoW), and I see it like:

"Hey, psst, dude... we've added transmog sets and mounts to your collection journal that you'll never be able to get. Why? Well, so you can see what those players have who've spent thousands of hours and years of life of their time on the game, not missing a single add-on, in-game event, buying TCGs, leveling all possible classes and farming challenges with them, which are inaccessible to regular players, clearing super hardcore raid and PvP content, and so on. So enjoy this beautiful and unattainable spectacle. Have a nice game, kiddo ^_^".

Yes, it's not without sarcasm, but this is my personal view of the situation as a whole. And I became curious, how does ESO handle this? Especially since, for the first time in the entire existence of the game, I'm so interested in the new class that I'd like to immerse myself in the game for a long time this time around, savoring every quest and all the content available to me, which has been created over all these years.

All the items on the collection screens are obtainable. Those you do not have are greyed out.

Same for styles on the screens in the outfit station.

Some I will never get because I'm never going to do trials apart from the odd easy ones on normal but thats fine, some rewards are rightly there for higher end players but all are available.

Quite a lot of collectibles are available as runeboxes, style pages and fragments at Guild Traders.
(example: Tribunal Celebration 2021 containers dropped Slag Town Diver skin runebox. it is still available for approx 15K gold at PC EU)

If you play at PC i'd suggest the Event Collectibles addon to check what event Collectibles you are actually missing
    https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info2588-EventCollectibles.html
and try to locate some via Tamriel Trade Center

yes. some collectibles are unobtainable, but some are still here. and there are quite a lot of these.

Did I understand correctly that in the standard UI, without addons, all collectibles in the collections list are somehow obtainable? Im a bit confused with your and Deter1UK's replies.

Yes, iirc the items that are greyed out normally are items that you can collect by doing in-game activities, such as trifecta mounts from trials and stuff like the Emperor costume. If you see other stuff in there that you cannot obtain then it is probably an addon doing that.

Oh, thank goodness! I suffer from perfectionism (yes, I consider it a disease), but at the same time, I think critically and rationally, so even though I understand that I'm unlikely to find the time (as well as the desire and strength to "close" hardcore content) to collect all the available collectibles, it would still be very unpleasant to see an achievement or mount in the list that can no longer be obtained in any way. Thank you very much for the information! Looking forward to Necrom with great anticipation ^_^

i am afraid we both are talking about different things:
you, most likely, meant "Collections" that is what you see under "Collections" tab in the game.
i meant rewards from previous (long past) in-game Events (and, yes, you don't need addon, but you are to obtain the list of missing things and verify what you do have and what you don't. Addon solves this task instantly, while using a pen and a piece of paper would take you quite a lot of time).
Both of these drop into wider category and you can skim through the list of Collectibles maintained by UESP
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Collections
and there are lots of cosmetics. not everything is available now for gold at Guild Traders, but some items are still sold by fellow players.

For me the main thing is that those items/achievements/mounts etc. that can no longer be obtained in any way would not be visible in the collections list. I find it, if not unfair, at least foolish when developers show such things to players. It doesn't matter whether we're talking about casual or hardcore collectors who have recently started playing and want to collect all possible in-game items. And no, I'm not talking about making a rare mount, for example, that players obtained through great effort in one of the game expansions or at a special any type of event, available again. No, the owners of that mount worked hard and earned it rightfully. But why show players something they will never be able to obtain (I will never understand this logic from Blizzard).
