So, there is a known issue with getting parts for the Aurora Firepot Spider from the Bags of Yesteryear. Right now it won't let you buy the instructions from the Assistant in order to complete the pet - a bug that will be fixed on the 24th we are told (after the event).
That issue aside, just offering that ANY items included in the Bags of Yesteryear should be standalone - as in, a style page, etc.
There should never be anything in those bags that requires the player to make a further investment in order to make it useful. The spider requires 3 parts - so if you got one, you'd need to invest at least 4 more tickets for 2 more bags to try and get the other 2 pieces OR you would need to buy them from a trader. After that, you HAVE to invest a further 5 tickets for the instructions in order to even make the pet.
If you don't want to do any of that then you wasted your 2 tickets on the Bags.
PLEASE just make items in the Yesteryear Bags ONLY stand alone pieces! It just makes more sense.
People usually will buy those - at least in my experience - when they have all the stuff they want from the current event but have tickets to use up since we can store only 12. So if there is an option to get the Bag, buy it to use tickets. But maybe the player only needs to buy 1, or 2. Should be single items the player can use that don't require further purchase.
I have a number of accounts but will never purchase these again just because of the risk of this spider I don't want, and certainly not at the expense of more tickets for instructions (which can't be bought any other way) or other spider parts.
Making the instructions FREE if you have the parts would mitigate some, but I still think those items should be stand alone pages only.
Then if people get the parts or buy the parts they can assemble them.
