Hi,
I'm posting this here in the hope of some further advice related to my ESO account, which has the Xbox version of the game linked to it. I will explain in the best way I can.
So, yesterday, I purchased ESO on the Xbox Series X. Once the game was downloaded, I tried to link this to my ESO account (which also has the PC linked to it) only to find I was unable to link to the Xbox Series X version of the game because a copy of the Xbox version of ESO is still linked from 2017. Back then, I did play this version, BUT with a former Xbox gamertag. I have since changed my Xbox game tag. The game gave me the option of setting up a new account. Which is something I didn't want to do.
I then decided to submit a ticket to the support team. The first reply came back saying I needed to login and relink the Xbox version which is tied to my account. I've explained I'm unable to do this because I no longer have access to that Xbox gamertag and won't be able to do that. The replies keep coming back with the same copy/paste content with different agents. I'm getting nowhere with this.
Is there anything else I can try? Like I've said above. The Xbox version of ESO currently linked to my account was added under a different gamertag. I can't do anything about this. All I wish to do is remove the Xbox version of ESO from my account and add the new Xbox Series X version to my account.
This is the version I wish to remove/unlink from my account.
Thanks
