Strangely, there're no interactive idle animation with our pet so far.
Just cuddle cat or rub the dog's head. Need kind of motion or emote.

✭✭✭✭I can't imagine creating animations for a character to interact with around 1000 pets with different forms, sizes and behaviors.
Also, it's not a "need", but a "want" or "would like".

Agree, now I guess this comes from the cats in Howard's legacy, it was cute but I think all the player characters is the same height, yes npc is larger and smaller. ✭✭✭✭✭Here's the major dichotomy between those who play this game as an RPG, and those who play the MMO part.
MMO players have no use and see no benefit to pet idles. Those who are more involved in the RPG think pet idles are wonderful.
Personally, I'd LOVE pet idles. Am I expecting that to happen? Nope.

✭✭✭✭✭Warcraft lets me sit down with a cat, the cat will jump into my lap. Some pets can dance alongside you. There's a toy that changes your appearance to your pet, another changes your pet to look like you, another item can double the size of your pets. And of course you can play animal abuse and let them fight other pets.4 -

✭✭It's a nice idea and something I'd want, but sadly I can't see it happening. There are just too many different pets of different sizes. Unless it was limited to cats and dogs.
And who would cuddle a hoarvor pet?
