THERE ARE NO GOOD JOKE STAVES. SAVE US ZOS!!!

I can keep my own topic alive until they re-code this.

Broom has always been 2h. Also how would a broom inferno staff actually play out? Think about it.
    Torch with extra steps.

That said, agree it ought to be a stave as well, they do seem to be getting a bit shafted here. Axe is an especially weird choice too, I mean it's a broom?Smacking it about, it should be a blunt weapon if anything.

Flying or hovering broom mounts might make up for it though for the sad mages [NON-crown store exclusive ones, mind.]

We got a shovel weapon ...pink weapons, so why not broom staff?

Brooms are made of wood, staves are made of wood, it all makes sense! Please fix this grave injustice. :(

    Okay real talk?

How would you design broom to work as stave?

Which side would make come out of?

Would it look weird using it?

I mean, aside from the implication it doesn't look weird being used as a 2-hander, how would you use a broom as an axe or hammer? It's not sharp and the bristles would break under any kind of strained hit.

I think the point is that it's a joke weapon and it would be great if magicka and stamina toons could both join in on the fun!

I can block dragon fire with a stick, so don't think about it too hard.

Well you can use an broom as an two handed weapon in real life. Unlike an shovel it would not been seen as an lethal weapon. This however does not make it practical as an real weapon.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

But by IRL standards you cant use a destruction staff either. It's just a... Walking stick!

If broom staff isn't an option maybe we could get rake staves? Then you get all those metal prongs to channel magic through!

I say I prefer the shovel for 2H builds, as in this one is only here to farm.

Why not make a jester style motif with a bucket head armor and maybe like paper apron thing with armor drawn on it and a broom for the staff or sword / etc and a pot lid for a shield ?

I've used Cadwell's "Staff" before I picked up Gloambound weapons pack. Also Cadwells "Shield" "Dagger" and the Cadwell's Helm of Heroism. But what the outfit system misses in this game is option to add any bound wearable item to skins and ability to hide any armour slot IMO.

I mean magic staves don't have real life equivalents. But, IRL, brooms have been associated with the concept of magic for a long, long time.

"I still do not understand why I followed the advice of Captain Rana to bring the villagers of Bleakrock into safety. We should have fought for our village and not have backed down, with our tail between our legs. Now my home village is in shambles, the houses burning, the invaders feasting.I swear every day to Shor that after Molag Bal has been defeated, I will hunt down the invaders and restore peace in Bleakrock and drink my mead with my friends at the market place".PC-EU
