Is it just me or is Race against time still feel better to use..I think for me it's the full stop you come to before you can start sprinting after the initial dash

I used to like to back bar it and nudge the button slightly before swapping bars to get the 300 extra damage, but now it's clunky and doesn't really feel like you're that much more mobile either. Maybe it'll just take time to get used to it but I definitely don't love it at the moment.0

✭✭✭✭✭What's saving it for me at the moment is being able to animation cancel into a new action right as the teleport ends, you'll still be animated as mist but you'll already be roll dodging or whatever. It's disappointingly clunky and janky for sure, especially since I came back from a 6mo break just for this skill. ✭✭✭✭✭Elusive Mist is a bit awkward at times to use, but it is pretty good when you time it right and can get the position you're going for down.
The problem is definitely the janky feeling of having to confirm the location you're dashing to, but there's a way to fix that in settings by having all ground placed AoEs autoconfirm the spot. Less precision, but it fires off instantly without a hitch.
The setting that'll "help" mistform, but it does change all the confirmation based AoEs.

✭✭✭I've been really enjoying the skill, then again, I'm a sorc main and well used to the hitch/freeze at the end of the teleport because streak does that fairly often too (especially if there's even the slightest elevation shift along the path of streak)1 -

Wouldn't say I prefer it, but I definitely enjoy it as much as streak and it is definitely a very strong alternative to BoL.
They both have their ups and downs.
Streak: generally slightly faster to cast (0.3s compared to 0.6 seconds on average, mostly due to the confirm action needed for mist), has a stun.
Mist form: better passives and secondary buffs/effects from using it, more accurate to use making it better in enclosed spaces, cheaper to use.0 -

You can play as a necromancer. Then you will have quite a lot of reasons to play as a sorcerer. Even if there is a skill similar to a streak, it does not mean that the sorcerer does not have other unique skills. In this meta, nb and dk are very strong, but this does not mean that the sorcerer is so downright bad. Rather, the fattest meta is bad.2 -

i can imagine something worse that has no counter, if that vanish gets a counter, imagine teleporting away behind a wall or up a platform instantly if u pre place the teleport-PC EU- / battlegrounds on my youtube1
