Daggerfall was awesome - back when I didn't have issues with vertigo and first-person games. *sigh* I'd REALLY love to replay it. But I'm not willing to have the FP issues.
For the maintenance periods, and because I enjoy playing computer games, I like to have a fallback plan for the ESO maintenance periods, particularly since many of them occur during Australian east coast prime gaming time for weekdays (i.e. late afternoon to early evening). This upcoming hardware replacement maintenance starts at 1000 Tuesday and finishes at midnight in my time zone, so I won't be spending any time playing ESO when I get home from work on Tuesday.
Anyway, I've recently started doing my daily crafting writs next to Vivec City, in the permanent "temporary" crafting area just outside the city, due to the ongoing construction work occurring in the soon-to-be Arena canton, and very much enjoying the zone's soundtrack.
Fittingly enough, my current non-ESO fallback is ES 3: Morrowind! My initial introduction to The Elder Scrolls was Skyrim, then I started ESO, then Oblivion, then replayed both Skyrim and Oblivion, and now I've just finished setting up Morrowind with some mods, and have started playing it. That's what I'll be doing on Tuesday. (and yes I know: I've basically done it in reverse chronological order)
What about the rest of you ? What's your fallback during ESO maintenance ?
