As the title states which race does offer the most damage for a gank PVP build? Is it Dark elf , High elf or Khajiit? Orc also good but 1000 less stam , also heard wood elf nice

    Khajit by a mile
    It isn't even a question

You crit when ganking and khajit gets crit damage

Ahh good to know never really roll khajiit as they dont have weapon and spell damge buff but i guess the crit bonus is more powerful

Dark elf is solid a 2nd as the extra mag help with cloaking so nice when you want to do more than just gank, but yeah, khajiit is no 1 for pure gank.

Khajiit. When you combine their racial passive with sets, you can stack tons of crit damage. Even to the point that you don't actually need NB or Vamp as crit damage bonus is already high enough so it overcomes crit resistance.

Another benefit with Khajiit is that you get an 3 meter sneak bonus add the 3 meter from CP and I can do TG heist without sneak gear.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Why do people enjoy ganking?

    I am genuinely curious.

It makes you feel absurdly powerful...building total glass cannon and 1 shotting someone with 35k hp. I play on my nb alt sometimes and it is definitely very fun.

    I appreciate your honest answer.

For me, a build designed to eliminate counter play isn’t interesting. I enjoy an evenly matched battle/duel that reveals different and sometimes unique playing styles and combos. My favorite duels (in bgs or cyro) go on for a good 20 seconds or more, and it’s clear that we’re both skilled in our class/niche/play style.

    Just personal preference.

Good honest answer that is probably shared by everyone who's ganked long enough to be good at it.

I'm more like Caribou... I enjoy more out in the open fights. I've played EverQuest, WoW, this, and dabbled in other mmorpgs as well and if I'm going to be 100% honest I despise invisibility. It upsets me (mildly,) that it's such a popular RP style because every MMO has to have a "rogue" class if they want to be popular, and good and bad players alike flock to it, and its very essence seems to me like a borderline broken mechanic. Just POOF becoming invisible right Infront of someone?? Appearing behind them, getting bonus flank damage, and two-shotting anyone that isn't prepared? Lame.

And that's just my personal bias I know that. Not hating... But this is honestly what goes through my head.

And even the few times the situation was reversed and I tried it... Sure, successes are fun. But the waiting is awful. The choosing targets. Sneaking into a castle thinking you're gonna wreck havoc but then they just ignore you. Lol it's so boring to me.

I don't gank but i could imagine you can't afford to not crit when ganking, so i think Order's Wrath (craftable) is better:

2 items: Adds 657 Critical Chance
3 items: Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
4 items: Adds 657 Critical Chance
5 items: Adds 943 Critical Chance
5 items: Increases your Critical Damage and Critical Healing by 8%.

It trades +5% crit damage for +4.3% crit chance and you could also use drinks with it ("food buff" means literally only food type consumables).

It's not that there isn't any counter play though. It's a matter of awareness and experience knowing when/where you might be more vulnerable, and listening closely for bow attacks (ranged gankers) or stealth ability sounds (melee gankers). Having detect pots on hand definitely helps too.

If it's duels you want, there's certainly an option available for cp dueling outside of pvp environs. But I get how fun it is to discover that spontaneous open world duel that is interesting and challenging.

Khajiit is best race for all things. Or at least all things worth doing.

Unfortunately Khajiit is terrible for damage in group PVE because you end up over the crit damage cap, effectively losing their main racial passive. It becomes a worse option than even mediocre races like Imperial, Redguard, Bosmer and Breton.

Good for ganking though. Agreed there.
