I don't like it, I have to squint to read names now lol. Is that what the addon setting that got disabled do, make the name fonts bigger? If so, I like it back.
Edit: Okay I see it dynamically shifts based on where you're at. In town its small I guess to reduce clutter, out in the world it goes back to the original size. Can we make it a toggle? I like the uniformity of it being the same everywhere, and not having to adjust trying to read NPC names.

✭Same here. Nameplate text (name, title, guild) is smaller than it was before the new update. I'm not using any addons that change the UI either. I thought it was a game setting so I reset it to default. But then realized there is no setting for changing the size of nameplates and healthbars...1 -

✭Following up on this...
It's something to do with gamepad mode. The smaller sized text is supposed to be for m&k mode. If you toggle gamepad mode on/off then the text size will revert back to the correct size for a while, but it does not fix it permanently.
This is what the current gamepad mode's nameplates/healthbars look like with the wrong text size:
And this is what it is supposed to look like with the correct text size:

The way I reproduced this is by logging in with gamepad mode on. The text size will be small. Then I toggle gamepad mode off and then on again. Now the text size is bigger like it's supposed to be, for a little while at least.
