Stadia Controller Not Detected

I recently enabled my Stadia controller for Bluetooth, since I do like the controller and I don't need a controller shaped paperweight.

I do have an Xbox controller, but it's connected to the Xbox console and I really don't wanna be faffing with connecting/reconnecting/disconnecting when I wanna play things on PC and the console.

But, ESO doesn't recognise any of the inputs for the Stadia controller. If I enable gamepad mode then try to use the controller nothing happens.
Is there a way of getting the controller to be recognised? Or can ZOS pleeeeease make it compatible?

I have been into the controller test window through control panel and all the buttons are functioning correctly.

Stadia Controller Support went away when Stadia shut down.

I just bought a second controller for my PC. This one is reasonable and is really nice.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You can use it as a standard bluetooth gamepad now by activating it here: https://stadia.google.com/controller/index_en_GB.html

I've done so, and it does work perfectly fine, ESO just doesn't recognise it. I'd rather just use this instead of buying another controller.

I have actually added ESO to my Steam library as a non-steam game. I've enabled the controller this way, making sure it's using Steam settings for gamepad in the game, and it is actually working now. But it would be nice if I could launch ESO normally outside of Steam as I always have and have it work.

    Thank you though :)
