Trial DSR - invisible chest

There's a chest spawn that on top area without mobs. Sometimes only a portion of group see chest.

Everyone in game, has been complaining about it.

It happens in other areas too - I encountered it in Castle Thorn.

It seems to be a rendering issue. The chest is below the accessible level. Relogging fixes it for that instance.

The one DSR happens often. I thought I would report it because everyone was complaining about but went silent when I asked..so you reported it right?

As to say people made it out to be a common issue.

Yes FeedbackOnly, some chests are just hidden under the floor for some players. Has been like this for along time. Everywhere, not just in trials. I did not know that relogging could fix it. Thank you virtus753!

Yes, I report it when I see it, as long as the group isn’t in such a rush that I’d be holding them back. It is a bug. I just don’t know if they’re capable of fixing it.

I believe it’s related to how furnishings used as floors in houses aren’t treated as such - for example, crafting stations placed on flat objects can glitch through them and become inaccessible if rendered in the wrong order.

ETA: an easier fix would be to move the chests to places where there is actual ground, like the tiny beach area before the door to Taleria.

Thank you for still reporting bugs when you see them. I stopped reporting stuff this year, because it doesn't change anything anyway. You don't even get an answer if someone read and understood whatever you are trying to report. When i started playing this game years ago i used to make videos, take pictures and tried to describe everything as good as i could in e-mails. Most of the time i only got copy paste answers that had nothing to do with what i wrote, and nobody ever looked at my videos. Using ingame feedback system, or ticket system or the forums does not really make a difference. It's all kind of frustrating. Especially if you are really motivated to help, but nobody is there to listen to you.

In DSR we have frequently had invisible chests for some of the group members while others could see them.

It is always in the last part where the wooden platforms are located before the final boss.

in dredsail reef its happened 3 weeks running now and is the section before last boss but not the last group of adds its the pull before it that has all the beds up a slope with no adds up there and chest far left is always bugged. this is on pc EU

usually its two i think in group each time that dont see it as if its set for only 10 to get or something as always hear two players say they see no chest on each of runs in last 3 weeks and was same yesterday
