Improper lead drops from Galen treasure map?

I'm wondering if drop locations have changed for the music box turnstile, or if this is a bug and the aforementioned gold lead is dropping from the treasure maps when it should not be, and the gold barkoot blessing skin lead is NOT dropping from the maps accordingly??? If this is intentional, then please change it. Having three leads drop from the galen treasure maps, especially given the low access to the maps in the first place is a bit, uh, terrible. I recently purchased a ton of Galen maps. I did get the shoulders, and eventually I did get a gold lead, BUT it was the music box turnstile lead, and NOT the barkroot blessing lead. Talk about FRUSTRATING!!!!

Hmm. I've been farming volcanic vents for that turnstile lead for more than a week now, and despite doing at least 50 vents over that time (probably more like 60 or 70) haven't seen the lead there. Maybe it's just bad RNG luck, but since you got one from a treasure map it does make me wonder if they changed it. Has anybody out there gotten the turnstile lead from a volcanic vent within the past week?

I was lucky enough to get the Petrified Tablet lead from a treasure map just over a week ago, so at least that recently it was dropping from the maps, however rarely. But I certainly agree that adding yet another lead to the treasure maps, and one that has to be found multiple times to complete the codex to boot, would just be doubly cruel.

Try the Alik’r public dungeon, Lost City of the Na-totambu. Sooo much more pleasant to farm than those vents; I didn’t even know it dropped from that dungeon until I was there yesterday for the Mages Guild fetch quest and leveling Bastian.

Really? I hadn't heard that was a source for the turnstile, just the vents. Wow. Though of course, after I did this post, about 5 more vents and there was the lead. Just my second one so I will still have to get one more once I finish this one off (Wayrest Sewers, here I come!), so maybe I'll check out the Lost City.
