New theme music (logging screen)

When we log in to character menu, there is a music playing... but can you please revert to the old music, from before last patch?
A new one is a complete mistake, sorry to say it but it has no leading motive and isn't pleasant to listen.
Frequently changing rhymes, strange noises. Last one was much much better. Any chance for a change?

Also logging screen has now the same Morrowind background for all characters, why?

You can change the music in game settings; pick one of the other themes that you do like. The character screen has always been the same for all characters on the account. The last one was the High Isle look.

You can change the menu music to whatever chapter music you like in settings.
Also the background gets changed once a year and is the same for all characters since greymoor so that isn't anything new.

The startup music setting is persistent, too: it won't change even after a new chapter startup theme is added. As Led Zep said, "The song remains the same", but the image changes :)

That new audio setting to choose your new main menu theme doesn't apply to ALL aspects though. It does alter what you hear at Character Selection, but not the initial log in screen where you choose servers etc, that can't be changed, that might be what OP wants.

I haven't heard Necrom's theme yet, is it really that bad? Cause I haven't been enjoying High Isle's at all because of the vocals.

Not the greatest, but at least there's no emphasis on a gibberish language. Still why does this alteration of the classic Elder Scrolls theme scream Pirates of the Caribbean?

I changed mine to the Morrowind chapter theme some months ago, and I hear it right from the start of the game, well before the character selection screen appears.

It doesn't appeal to me, but then I don't usually have headphones on all the time to listen.

Hmm. I just checked the login screen, and I'm hearing the High Isle music there, as well as on character select. Would it be different from PC to Console?

Welp, chalk it up to differences in platform then. I have mine set to Elsweyr but every time I launch the game, it plays High Isle's theme until I log in, then it plays Elsweyr at Character Selection.

That's too bad. I hope you will like the Necrom theme when you finally get the DLC!

The classic Elder Scrolls theme can be well remembered and played from inside the mind, but this new theme can be forgotten already while it plays. I have good memory but my mind cannot record this music for longer than few seconds. Like someone noticed in the comment for this video "it doesn't even feel like a theme, just random scattered collection of sounds".

PS. thanks a lot for pointing me to where to change intro music, I now returned to Base Game and good memories returned :)

Interesting. Since the option to chance the music was added to consoles it has never worked for me. Regardless of the selection i make, the music reverts to the High Isle music after a few seconds. Been this way on PS ever since they added it.

Even when you change the theme on Xbox, the first few seconds of the current one plays. So it kind of breaks/defeats the purpose.
