Replace for Frenzied Momentum?

Im a Nightblade Stamina Bow, and i want a replace for Frenzied Momentum because i dont have the dlc necessary for Frenzied Momentum

There's no direct replacement, you'd have to link the whole build for a cogent answer and specify PvE or PvP.

Im using 5 Swamp Raider, 5 New Moon Acolyte, 2 Monster set of Weapon Damage and Skill Damage and i want a 2H that can give me some buff or something

- Offensive: 2 piece Crit Chance or Penetration (little extra damage on your DoTs even if they're applied on the frontbar)
- Defensive: 2 piece Armor Potenate's or Healing Taken

Or just 2 piece Stam Regen. Not sure if there's a set with a 2nd line of Stam+Mag Regen, like Ulfnor's Favor 3rd line, that would be good if so.

The generic stand-in for an Arena Weapon is Agility for Stam or Willpower for Mag, but these don't match up with Frenzied Momentum on a Bow frontbar build because you're slotting F.M. on your backbar to buff your frontbar skills - no other 2 piece can do this. Agility, or any line of Stam/Weapon Damage, only buffs skills slotted on that bar.

But there might be better options if you describe your skillbar, like if you're running Stampede on that backbar, obviously the VMA 2h.

If you're running 2x Weapon Damage Monster Set pieces rather than a whole Monster Set and slotting any random set on the backbar just for the 2nd line, then you could just wear 4x of any set you want instead of Monster Head/Shoulders - this would open up the option of getting the 3rd line on your backbar and you'd lose nothing, it would be 3 lines total either way. Like that 3rd line of Ulfnor's Favor (Not a recommendation at all, just an example of a unique 3rd line). (edit: never mind that, wasn't thinking clearly, you'd only have 1x line active on the frontbar in this case, this is only worth it for a few niche setups and usually for defensive lines rather than offensive)

Only exception is there's a few Monster Set pieces that have a larger value than what you'd get out of regular set pieces - Slimecraw has slightly more Crit Chance, Domihaus has Mag and Stam, and Magma Incarnate has that same line as 3 piece Ulfnor's. There might be a few others.

But 1 piece Balorgh is just the same as 1 line of Weapon Damage on a regular set, so no loss of efficiency to use 4x from a regular set here.

Asylum Bow is an option - but you'll need a new source of Brutality and you have to be quick with the bar swap to make it worth it - also you have to slot Acid Spray and be within 20m to get its buff.

But it's a backbarrable damage buff, I use it on the frontbar right now (but I'm a scrub, keep that in mind).

If you're running Toxic Barrage as your Ult it's a decent set - also it's nice to have the Bow's Roll Dodge bonus on both bars. But unfortunately you'd have to use Power Extraction, Degen, or Pots for Brutality, since I assume you're using Poison Injection on your frontbar and can't use Venom Arrow.

Yeah about using 2 single Monster Set pieces, usually it's the most efficient way to go. My above example about 4 lines of a regular set equaling 2 single Monster Set pieces plus 2x regular set is convoluted and usually inefficient unless there's a really good reason you want those later lines on the regular set.

Honestly unless Asylum Bow would work and you have that DLC I'd just do 2 piece Penetration or 2 piece Potenate's - it's stronger than 2 piece Armor now that I think of it, not by much but it's worth it.

Or re-examine your build altogether - Swamp Raider is quite unique but NMA is fairly replaceable. You could find a way to fit in Powerful Assault on your backbar instead and open up better ways to use these 2 slots that would otherwise be Frenzied Momentum. There's a good list of backbarrable damage buff 5 pieces - but Frenzied Momentum and Asylum Bow are, off the top of my head, the only 2 piece ones besides Master's Bow, which means dropping Poison Injection off the frontbar and probably losing some potential tooltip on it (assuming you're running NMA frontbar). If your Weapon Damage is equivalent across bars then Master's Bow is a good option for a backbar.

Asylum Bow is your best bet for maximizing damage with a Bow - but again, only in 20m range and spending an in-combat GCD + barswap that Frenzied Momentum wouldn't require. Also Acid Spray has some Z-axis limitations that other skills don't.

Really Frenzied Momentum is in a class of its own and isn't replaceable - just like its activating skill, Momentum.

Unfortunately there is not really an alternative to Vat 2h/any other arena weapon useful for this build. But maybe 3 times a year you can get free Eso+ for 1 week. You could use this time to farm Vat 2h.
