In my opinion, not only does the addition of metal armor to a Light weight style damage the aesthetic, it doesn't make practical sense as Light Armor is the least protective weight, thus what is the metal bits even there for?
My current nit pick is the Scorianite Gladiator chest. Yes, admittedly it's called a Jack, but it's a special style with no other weights, and it's designed to be lightly covering, yet the chest is a metal plate bra. It'd be far more appropriate to have just kept it as cloth, or a leather top.
More than me have been wanting for casual every day styles for our characters. Light Armor can fill that desire easily. For those of us not wanting to strap on the iron for a stroll into town, keep the plates at home. My Vestige just wants to be comfy.
