Is this rly alowed in cyrodiil? AP trading like this for leaderboards etc

So I found like 5-6 AD hiding outside a DC-owned Brindle, they were waiting on someone from DC to come and kill them so that player would gain a big deftick, when i confronted them about it I got these replies, is it rly alowed? and if so...why?

It's called 'boosting', and it is absolutely against the rules and people get banned for it.

There was a fairly well-known incident where players from different alliances were continuously flipping Bleakers in order to AP boost. The players who got caught participating in that got suspensions as it 'went against the spirit of PVP'. I also remember reading on the forums that individual players who got caught leaderboard boosting (in the way that you described) got removed from the leaderboard and had their gained AP taken away.

So yes, things like this are absolutely against the rules and also just scummy in general.

Seen it happen too and when I questioned it, they said it wasn't boosting... which it clearly is.
So sad.

There is a caveat, in my opinion: if they're hurling pies at each other prior to the deed then it's not for ap but the empieror holiday event (whitestrakes) achievement. In this case, I'd personally ignore it.

Obviously if the same characters are still there after 15mins and still at it then pies or not it's boosting.

Just remember. There's absolutely no one engaging in cross faction shenanigans in game. Nor cheating.

Or so we're told by the kind of people who'd most definitely be doing it if such scrubbery actually happened.
