Gold isn't always a way to measure wealth. Some players store value in crafting materials, furnishings, etc.

I think I have about 2 million gold plus maybe a few extra million in materials/plans/motifs.
I am however on console so the prices on all of these mats and whatnot are lower.

For me, tha's an estimate based on 3 accounts with 80 total characters across PC NA and PC EU. Because I'm not going to take the time to run the addon across 80 characters.... Nor am I going to hit every house.

I have less than one million across my characters on both regional servers on the only account I still play. I'm not a trader, either seller or a buyer, and I'm only counting gold given that I don't use addons so have no idea what the value of anything else would be. I do wonder what the 40% currently claiming between 500-999 million gold in total value have it for. Much of it is presumably gold. What do they do with it, and if there's a use for it why have they still got it?

I’ve not used the addon, but I would imagine that houses and furnishings could count for a LOT. I don’t see any point in sitting on mega millions of gold either, but there are some houses available for gold that I’m saving for, and achievement furnishings.

Edit: Nevermind about houses, I see those aren’t included, must be only things that you could, hypothetically at least, sell. 🤔

I'm sitting on 6.3m in gold alone.
Was at almost 12m not long ago but decided to actually spend some instead of hording like I've been doing for years.
I've got tons of mats like Perfect Roe that are worth alot.
Must be sitting on 10m+ altogether I'd say.

Last I checked my craft bag was over 500m (have ~1k of each gold material, plus about 100k of each T10 material).

Also have things that have "value" but aren't "sellable" since they are bound, such as attunable stations, house has all 74 sets (at a current value of about 121m).

Probably almost to 1B all said and done.

Hint: Do your writs.

Edit: As to the original question... Yes, plenty of people have 1B in net worth. I know of several for sure and the story is much the same... Do your writs

One of my characters has just over 5 million in gold. The other four have somewhere between 100k and 300k each.

I'm not particularly interested in the TTC average price of any materials I have, since I'm not a seller. And since I won't be liquidating any furniture I have in my houses, the gold value of it all may as well be 0.

I have 3 mil in the bank currently, I just went on a huge spending spree due to housing.

I don't know what I have in mats and don't feel like doing the mats. It's definitely a lot though.

I'm on PS5 so I can't use that add-on.

On Xbox so our prices are definitely different but I'm sitting on over 6 mil in the bank(I just spent 5 mil decorating a house. YEAH hedge maze!) Each of my houses I've spent several mil on(I have 4 done and one "warehouse" junk house full of furniture) 7 years worth of mats etc and enough stuff in my chests to keep traders full, So probably a couple hundred mil at least?

I know we can't sell our player housing properties to other players, but a lot of them were really, really expensive to purchase-- and I mean the ones that can be purchased with in-game gold. Any wealth assessment that doesn't factor in my incredibly gold-draining housing purchases isn't telling me my actual degree of "wealth," in my opinion. That housing sale during the Zenithar celebration a little while back took a huge bite out of my gold pile.

Thats the truth. Too often I'd preview a home and be like "they want HOW much for this room/house?"

Net Worth tells me I would have about 82 millions, but it shows house furniture = 0, what isn't true. I have lot of houses and loads of furniture in each of them.

After testing: Net Worth is showing a different amount for each house. It means that the amount it's showing is only for that specific house you're in in the moment you use the app. Taking this into account, my houses altogether should add an amount of about 4 to 6 millions. It doesn't change the category.

I dont have that addon so couldnt tell you the total of my craftbag contents, but i have all crafting stations/transmute on 2 servers xbox and pc. About 1500 improvement mats of each kind on xbox and the rest of the contents of that bag no idea as i never sold anything and about 5mil gold. I think i only have about 500 of each improvement mat on pc as i had been semi regularly selling off stacks to play the collect gold mini game which ive got about 110 mil. When i ticked the option i didnt realise i needed to include all materials and valuable items like ive described so maybe i should have picked higher all the same pretty interesting thinking about this stuff 😆

I prefer Wealth Evaluator (https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info1559-WealthEvaluator.html) because it also factors in:

- Motifs
- Furniture recipes
- Provisioning recipes

Given that the prices of some of the motifs and recipes are eye-watering and there are so many of them it gives a better overall picture.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not sure if the addon works anymore, is been a long while since I used it.

That AddOn is misleading and only accounts for a limited amount of valuable items.

For example, the AddOn does not use the trading value of all bound and equipped items, but the ingame value, that is used for selling to NPC traders. Net Worth typically includes all used items in ones property. At the price they were purchased. Not the price they could be resold.

For example my golden Ice Staff of Powerful Assault cost me 4 million to buy (Yeah, RnJesus hates me sometimes), but it is valued by the Addon around 200 gold, I believe.
Or my golden Jewelry of Order's Wrath. ~100 gold instead of 1.5mil, which is their actual worth.

It is not even their deconstruction value.

15m gold on this char, about 30m of lost gold on my banned account, so all in all about 45m, round it to 50m for gear and stuff that's not been sold plus about 400 of each gold mats that's also lost, so about another good 30-50m or so

I definitely have like 20m+ in house furnishings alone. But I don't actively farm mats or do writs, so I probably don't have more than 10m total worth in everything else. I only even got the amount of money I have because of friends giving me it and getting lucky with monster mask motif drops like Baron Zaudrus.

i fluctuate between 5 and 10 million gold.
i sell on three accounts and have my own guild bank which is full. i easily have over 1000 motif pages.

i use three characters --- the other 15 are storage. and most of my houses are storage. along with the storage crates.

ive left the game and have comeback multiple times --- the last time i left it took me a full two days to give everything away.

im a hoarder and a half.

I haven't voted yet, I didn't know about this addon.

Now I am insanely curious, my actual gold varies enormously, depending on my current decorating project but I do own every gold purchasable house and a few crown houses too. Some of these are "finished", many more are full of storage, so it might be quite time consuming to get a total for my personal curiousity.

At least I now have something to do today! 😀
