Acid Spray DOT does not reapply on recast

Hello, I wanted to just mention that on both PTS and live servers, the skill "Acid Spray" appears to not reapply the DOT on a target when recast to match the new timer. This is obviously an issue (well to the 3 people who use this skill /s ) but should be looked into for those that use it. The skill reads and seems like it should be able to be recast to maintain the dot, but it currently is only doing the upfront damage.

The issues with this is obviously it means dynamic or static rotations or general use of the skill is diminished because if you even cast this skill .1 second early, you will miss the DOT damage for the next 4 seconds unless you recast after the prior casts DOT is finished. The tool tip is actually the exact same as the skill "Burning Talons" and that skill is built in the way that I would suspect is the idea for this one. I know this skill has been like this for a while, but it seems odd to have it the only one like this.

Any feedback is welcomed as I just wanted to at least start the conversation for unification of the skills and their DOT timers <3

    Oof, that's unfortunate. I didn't realize that was the case. I actually recently have been doing a lot of farming in public dungeons lately and tried making use of Pestilent Host and didn't realize why it felt like many of the enemies weren't dying with poison effects on them, and I can see how that was happening now.

    I think it's important that you mention Burning Talons because it would literally be better for that skill to behave this way, and Acid Spray to behave the way it does. I miss the explosion too many times because I recast early (but that's a topic for another discussion).

    I imagine it's a bug/oversight. If not, I hope that they'd consider adjusting it to behave similarly to other skills. 2h's Carve(Cleave) received a lot of attention to get where it is now, and I don't think I'd like this to behave the way Carve does but it would be nice if it refreshed.
