Should we limit to say 5 per day?

I'll give you an example. The player can get alchemy ingredients for completing a daily craft task, he can also get them from a dark brotherhood supplier once a day, buy a herbalist's bag in the sewers of the imperial city. Growing plants in your home will not affect the economy in any way.

Any option like this all comes down to implementation.

2, 3, (or 5) a day or whatever, no not really going to hurt much. Being able to plant a garden of 50 of the most valuable and desirable items you can harvest every day, yes it could.

But then the question becomes, whats the point of having 2, 3 (or 5) a day in home? Walk out into the over-world and you can find 5 in about a minute.

As a feature for "flair and fun" sure I'm all for it, the more the merrier, but for any form of actual use (using it to have an endless supply for crafting), it adds very little IMO.
