I kind of was under the impression that green was for recovery and healing type stuff. Red was for health and damage reduction. And blue is always like damage and utility.
And that have the old CP used to be or even on the Skyrim game?

As for skyrim the colour match wich standing stone the skill get bonus exp from (ex: sword-warrior and destruction-mage) if i remember correctly0
