What is your favorite recurring quest giver?

There are a few quest givers that we can meet in several zones. What is your favorite one and if you want could you tell us why?

I for my part enjoy very much the quests of Clarisse Laurent and Stibbons. They are simply so hilarious the outstanding best up to now is that in Dark Forrest. I've played this quest several times with different characters and I simply can't help laughing.

Congratulations to the writers of these quests. For me they are one of the most entertaining quests.

Funny, I loathe Stibbons/Lady Laurent. I hate every time I'm forced to interact with that abusive [self-snip] and her simpering idiot. It makes me feel so so dirty.

Like most recurring characters, they have been reduced to one-dimensional caricatures of themselves. They were tolerable in Glenumbra when you met them, but since they've become more and more ridiculous, to the point where I wanted to put the entire game down just because of how she acted.

    Say it with me:
    EMOTIONAL ABUSE IS ABUSE!
ABUSING MEN IS NOT OK JUST BECAUSE THE VICTIM IS A MAN!

I can't imagine that people would think those storylines are anywhere near as funny if they were about Lord Stibbons and his maid Clarisse. You know, the idea of the innocent maid who's constantly yelled at and belittled by her lord, who also seems to enjoy seeing her getting screwed over?

    But that's just my opinion.

Probably Narsis Dren. I love how he constantly gets himself into, out of (with your help) and then back into situations (sometimes also with your help).

Naryu is one if my favorites.

I feel about the same way toward Stibbons/Laurent as the poster above. I avoid them, and now Jakarn.

Abnur Tharn, if he counts. I think the VA did a great job and its an interesting character that Im never really sure if I like or dislike.

Of course she is terrible abusive character. When I wrote that I like this quest giver it was not to say that I like the character itself but the hilarous side of many of the associated quests.

I on my side interprete this relationship between Laurent and Stibbons more on the relationship aristocrat / servant level. And yes, both characters are carricature which is exactly what they are intended to be I think.

I also came to actually appreciate Abnur during the Eslweyr adventure. I would not go so far as to say that I like him.

Lyranth is interesting but she will always be a Dremora and consider mortals like benevolent humans and mer consider bantar guars.

For my DC characters it would probably be Gabrielle Benele and Darien Gautier.

For the others, it would probably be the Vanos siblings.

I would generally say that many of the characters seem to do better in smaller doses and tend to take a hit as they appear more frequently. Further some of them such as Tharn change enough that it can be a bit odd interacting with them.

Revus Demnevanni for sure, Gabrielle Benele would be another, and I would greatly appreciate Raynor and Kireth back in the limelight as well. Maybe Neramo and Narsis Dren as well. Narsis just needs another opportunity to be shoved down a well or into a tomb.

    But that's just my opinion.

Lady Laurent is legitimately distressed when Stibbons is in real danger that she cannot be sure she can reverse. He's mostly put in situations she's confident she can handle, but in Coldharbor she legitimately fears for him and shows she very much does not enjoy the idea he could be seriously harmed.

Stibbons offers a whole years salary to save her in High Isle and gushes about her.

I think these two are supposed to be secretly in a gender flipped Fifty Shades of Gray situation, but played for laughs.

Rigurt, Narsis Dren, and Stibbons always have the most humorous quests

    I enjoy Razum-Dar whenever I see him.
