All the login rewards for PVP are useless if you don't PVP so why not let non-PVP er's exchange the currency for gold?

    There are sets and cosmetics you can spend ap or tel var on. Not only that, you can buy alchemy sacks with tel var as well.

    Both in your alliance base (not sure which gate as it depends on your faction) and in the towns in cyrodiil. For tel var it'll be in your alliance base in the imperial city sewers.

    Yes but your bases are safe zones where opposing players can't get to you. There is a risk with the towns though since they can be captured.

    I just don't know how the PVP zones work. The only thing I did was get the 30% mounts speed passive and left quickly.

    One other thing I'll point out is that all the cosmetics, whether those are furnishings, motifs, style pages or polymorphs are entirely in those aforementioned safe areas.

    You can consider the alliance bases as gateways to PvP. They are in zones where PvP takes place but the bases are completely safe.

    Cyrodiil is a huge overland map with decently difficult mobs, and also some special named mobs, that act erratically and may or may not have improved AI. ;) There is a ton of delves with multiple bosses, and many many skyshards.

    Generally, the action is where the map icons are on fire. Going there or into towns that aren't in your faction's color, is a pretty sure way to get a free teleport to the base of your choice. Otherwise, if you meet a lone other player in a delve, chances are they are also just completing the map and also don't want to risk having to come back all the way from their nearest base.


    Imperial City is a huge public dungeon with unleashed wandering world bosses, and a great story. The area around your base is pretty safe, and a quick way to farm kills, daedra, strong boss and tel var endeavours. Just be sure to deposit all tel var in your bank before you leave the base - when you die, no matter whether by player, NPC, or fall damage, you lose half the tel var you're carrying. Outside of an event it's pretty calm in IC.

    APs give you skill points which you don't need to spend on PvP skills, although for some classes more than others Vigor is a handy skill to have anyway. I have no use for the Tel Var rewards but it's useful sometimes if they're at the end of the month so I can miss the odd day without losing out.

    If they are worthless then when you get enough can you buy me some Militant Ordinator stuff? Sucks when it comes up as a Master Writ and I have to drop 240k buying a page.

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
