✭✭✭✭✭There's no use for it. Just a weak old set that was forgotten when similar sets were buffed.
If you want to get 400+ spell damage without the limitation on damage type, look at Yandir's Might. Or if sustain is not an issue then New Moon Acolyte. Even those are not really top damage sets though, since % damage increase sets (Bahsei, Kinras, Riptide) or damage proc sets (Pillar of Nirn, Whorl of Depths, Relequen) all end up giving higher DPS.3 -

No, War Maiden isn’t optimal by any means on Sorcerer, but what I’m saying is that even though you’re obtaining an extra 200 with War Maiden when playing a Templar, the set is still outshined by others.
If 600 for Magicka Templar is mid when all of their abilities are magic damage, 400 won’t work for Sorcerer, especially considering Haunting Curse is your best damage ability and it does magic damage, not lightning.
