    I don't know
It depends on how much more.

I don't buy that much from the crown store (I don't get much with seals of endeavour either), I could afford to get more but I wouldn't use it. I doubt I'd use it if it was unlocked in game either.

Obviously in theory it would be good for everything to be earnable in game. But if it meant the price of the DLC goes up by the price of the crown store items which are now included (so like, you get a mount and a costume, but it's 1,500 crowns more than previous DLC) then effectively I'm being charged for things I'll never use and can't get the stuff I do want without wasting that extra money so it would ultimately be a bad move for me.

    Earn how exactly…

Am I going to be thrown into pvp situations I am not comfortable with?

    Vet hard mode dungeons?

Endlessly grinding spriggans in Malabol Tor?

There are rewards right now I would love to earn but whose activity I don’t really care to do. (Looking at you fishing reward boat for housing and statue lead from bgs.) if more stuff was to be put behind those activities, I will just stick with the store, thank you very much.

Don't see why everybody should have to pay more for the chance to earn a load of extra stuff, that not everyone wants to buy in the first place.

If they are going to do something like that it should be separate from the chapters, I buy those for the new story content not all the cosmetic shiny stuff in the crown store.

If I want something from the crown store I will buy the specific things I want, got no desire for a price hike, that could end up being more than I actually spend normally in the crown store each year.

Feels more like the kinda thing they would add to ESO+ to get more people to subscribe, even then still got no desire for a price hike.

I don't see how they can justify a price hike when they didn't need one when they added the same kinda system: endeavours to the game, which would just need to be further expanded to include the rest of the contents of the crown store instead of just the crown crates.

Chapters are already around $40 anyway. I don't like the idea of a price hike solely to have more cosmetics available, especially since I might have no interest in some of them.

No, I prefer not to pay for stuff I don’t want and to choose what I want when I want it (I realize not even the Crown store provides this — I had to wait a very long time for my Tel Galen). But for instance, starting out, I had no motifs or styles or gold, but I could buy a costume and be happy with my character’s appearance as I worked toward earning/unlocking further options.

I enjoy many of the things earnable in game, including the Indriks and several costumes and personalities. There are some things technically earnable in-game but too rare/grindy that, if I want the item, I’d rather buy it. With some furnishings, we have multiple options which is nice.

I do think a few more basic things like guar mounts should obtainable purely in game, but overall I’m happy with the balance, although not always the price, but I choose what is worth it to me.

I wouldn't be happy with the (probable) mega grinds for stuff I can get now with SoE. I don't do grinds any more. I'd rather pick up cosmetics for seals than spend ages grinding content I can do, and missing out on getting things from content I can't or won't do (like group content and pvp).

I want to pay money for the workers of ZOS as possible as I can. (just tiny amount though)
But, there're not much good purpose at the crown shop for me now.

And, I don't like spending time for PVP to get the PVP skill line.
I just want only "purge" for the my quest, no other reason.
I need more "time" rather than money cost.

Crazy concept - if I could actually buy the items I want from the Crown Store, I might be very well inclined to do so.

Having taken a break from ESO for a bit, it just boggles my mind to come back to a game that relies so heavily on gambling crates.

There are plenty of items in crates that I would happily pay money for if given the option - I have no problem with that.

The idea of paying money for a chance at maybe, possibly, most likely not, getting the item that you want to purchase is just insane and incredibly outdated.

The end result, I don't end up buying crates, and I'm certainly not spending as much as I would if I could just outright purchase the things I want.

And I'm sure it still makes ZOS money - how could it not? But that doesn't mean it's the most efficient or profitable way to run things.

I live in Australia and we pay enough already for chapters.

The new Necrom Chapter on Steam will cost me -

    Upgrade - $59.95

    Deluxe Upgrade - $82.95

The cost of pretty much a new game. So NO. Absolutely not.
With the chapter cost and subscription, I think ZOS is already getting more than enough for me and I dare say many other players.

Currently, you actually can earn nearly everything in the Crown Store via the economy and Crown trading but in terms of actually playing the game, there really isn't that much earnable rewards. In regards to the question asked, it's a bit early to tell for me and can only really answer after the Q3 QoL update they promised.

Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

I don't really enjoy Zos's idea of "earnable ' in game. Leads gated behind double rng, the low rate of furniture mats that drop with very high costs, (I'm looking at you fargrave.) even w/o double rng "bad streaks" are becoming common. Yes, there's the argument that this could be one way of pushing us to the cash shop, but if this were implemented I don't see them adjusting drop rates out of kindness, do you?

Yes, with the condition that most items wouldn't be behind minuscule RNG (like the Chef Arquitius Lost Thesis, Ayleid furnishing plans, etc.). With the current crate system, someone who is after a mount might pay hefty amounts and not even get it, so buying a more expensive chapter and being able to get all those things in-game would be a huge improvement. Plus, the chapter always becomes a DLC on the following year, so players could wait and still earn the items on a later date. The game really needs more rewards (and more well-designed rewards, because the last few trifecta rewards for eg., were anything but unique) obtainable through playing.

    I don't know
No, I wouldn't pay more for DLC. The DLC already costs what a new game costs, and this game has been out since 2014. I'd love to see 90% of the cash shop items, that being 100% of the crown crate items, being released in-game as earnable stuff with more each chapter. I'd love to see more events with more fun things we can earn, more ways to increase the retention of the game. Grind-based cosmetics, achievement based ones, event ones, things tied to more quests. Sure, there could be some cool stuff in PVP, but since PVP doesn't have much in the way of new content often, I'd make most pvp related cosmetics event based. But since the majority of the playerbase is PVE centric, going with a lot of the WoW model of earning stuff in-game would do a lot of good for the game. Crown Crates, like all loot boxes, are gambling and are slowly but surely being banned all around the world, so if the game is still around when the ban comes to the west in earnest, they're going to NEED a new model anyway. Basing the game on retention would go a long way.

I'd be willing to buy a battle pass for 20 bucks over 3 months if 90% of cosmetics were earnable in-game, though. That means no more loot boxes.

Emphatically yes. Having Crown Store items earnable via in-game activities is what games SHOULD be doing (morally, if not monetarily). I would 1000% pay more for Chapters if this were the case. Knowing that there would be ample amounts of cosmetics earnable in-game and in Chapters would be more than enough incentive to may for new Chapters, even if they're much higher price.

Speak for yourself. I don't want to pay ten times the amount of a new DLC just to be able to grind for stuff in the crown store which would end up me paying nearly 500 bucks for a DLC. With this 450 bucks I could easily buy directly in the crown store stuff that I really wand and still safe money and pass all the grind stuff.
