Extend duration of the Event for EU

As title says, the Live Event at the EU server should be extended.
Why:

"The Season of the Dragon Celebration begins Thursday, January 26 at 10AM EST, and runs until Tuesday, February 7 at 10AM EST"
What is 10AM EST?
This is 15:00 UTC (3:00pm UTC)
But maintenance started at 9:00 UTC and for an unknown reason would last 8 (eight) hours, till 17:00 UTC
It is easy to calculate - EU players are missing SIX last hours of the event.
So, basically, lots of us wont be able to get last 2 tickets because of that unbelievable long maintenance.

Logically, the Event should be extended for 1 day at the EU server.

At least - till tomorrow's another crazy long EU maintenance.

    It is not for unknown reason.
    It is pre-upgrade HW maintenance on EU server what will be at start of April.
    It was announced in advance that it would be today.

    So today is announced in advance long maintenance and tomorrow is standart patch maintenance.

    I can agree that is rly bad timing on the end of the event. I'm not arguing about that.
    I only explained that unknown reason for 8h only EU maintenance.
    But they just started doing it at end of several past events. Thats I agree, for unknown reason.

    It doesn't explain anything at all. They could have scheduled it for February 9th. Thats i can agree.

    I'm working the whole day so I can#t get my 2 tickets today, pls extend the event until midnight so working people can get the last 2 tickets aswell :D:p

    no tbh, I really don't care, and like others sayed already, it was announced before. apart from this we#ll get so many more tickets over the year that these don't matter. ;)

    They could make some announcement window at login screen. Where you could see in advance that will be maintenance. (No i don't using launcher for every start of eso so that message what will appear few hours before is not enough)
    They already can annouce events and that you don't have ESO+, so i think there is space for some window where can be some other messages.

    Every year they schedule a maintenance on the last day of event.
    Sometimes it is worse, as they re-enter maintenance, due to weak patches.

    The Server change may have been announced for today but it could have been scheduled after 3PM when the Event is officially over.

    This way, EU players lost 2 Tickets plus loads of Boxes.

    Definitely. People would have complained that they took the server down in EU prime time, but given the event happening, it has to be considered that this would have been a better option.

    To be honest, I hate this 4 p.m. (CET) threshold anyhow. Most people with family and working just don't have time from getting up to 6 p.m. for playing. They ALWAYS lose one day of event tickets...

    They should have the event day from 7:00 p.m. to 6:59 p.m. (CET)

    This way also maintenance would not matter that much.

    You guys are really mad about 2 tickets when this maintenance is getting you one step closer to new servers? People complain about performance and then complain when they try to fix it.

    So we have to accept that event tickets we have already done the quests to collect can no longer be collected and these would cost us 250 crowns per ticket to buy, but we pay the same as everybody else and we also lose all the reward boxes, why should we be treated differently if we have paid the same. I pay eso plus ps plus and every expansion the top one not basic, imho this very unfair to European server players

    Kevin addressed this last week, and it's linked on Dev Tracker. Basically no ETA as yet.

    This is a global game, it's always going to inconvenience someone.

    I pay the annual subscription every year, because I play every day. But as with every maintenance during the events we are fooled. Zos offers no compensation, only a non-fight pet every 36th of the month.
    With their choices not to let the possibility of players changing classes the game becomes boring for many people. I no longer take a subscription and the new extension is frustrating if I can't fully play the new class.
    So I wouldn't buy it. I log in just 10/15min for endeavors and i close.
    ESO become a gacha-game.

    For me it became like this because of Cyrodiil being one big lagfest. I keep my fingers crossed for that hardware replacement. I hope it will help.
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.
