I’m glad it wasn’t a bard. I mean, that’s never been a thing in TES, has it? I know there were classes called bard, among others, but you didn’t go singing into battle. Is that what people were wanting? I can’t imagine how it would work in an MMO and not be obnoxious.
No one asked for more grinding or a cthulu ordered from wish class
Another good example is hackdirt in oblivion. The entire village and quest is entirely a lovecraft reference.

The dungeon is Q4. The hyped up featAraneae6537 wrote: »Holycannoli wrote: »

Well being a bard doesnt necessarily mean you HAVE to sing into battle.. You could give one mighty roar to buff yourself and allies, then ulilize spells small spells with clever poet type names or scrolls of magic... (ex. Might o Ice could be a frost damage skill, of course you wouldnt hear the bard say that every cast but when you saw them cast it you would know that it is the spell they were casting if that makes any sense xD) then most of their audio identity would probably come from their roaring or possibly laughter spells...

Yeah but bard wouldnt have worked the way those people wanted anyway. While some vocal magic exist, its realy rare. It either thuum, dwemer or like that 1 single npc on anemos. Traditional bard are just regular musician in elderscroll, see bard college in solitude.
So even if it wasnt THE class, its still a class
The "most requested feature" is the/a new class.
But 2-people content was suggested and "survival mode" (endless waves of enemies) is something some people suggested as an alternative to harder overland content. If you can oneshot everything the game can throw at you, how much of it can you handle at once and for how long?
I'd say it's a fun concept. Now it just needs to be worth doing too and that touches on reworking the reward structures in the game in general - which is something even more people wanted.

i'm pretty sure people were asking for QOL updates to group finder and an all-in-one crafting station
