Semi-permanent debuff status effects can be quenched by entering a delve when playing in Cyrodiil. I’ve done this several times now.

The problem is that this bug is on the traget and not on yourself, but what you describe could be a workaround/temporary fix for eg the dragon leap bug. If you want you can post this in the dragon leap bug thread, it is an interesting information, becuase a zone change (fix for the leap bug) is so hard to do in cyrodiil when there is queue.

You can also go to Cheesemongers Hollow to get rid of it too. Easier than finding a delve on your map (console at least).
added to the ever expanding list of known issues in cyrodil/IC
Thank you for your hard work. If only one of the devs was interested enough to deal with it.

I hope and cant imagine that is is a too huge task. Somewhat similar mechanics are already in the game, like stealth where you enter and leave stealth or eg stygian set that grants the bonus only when leave stealth or invisibilty or vampire passive Strike from the Shadows (When you leave Sneak, invisibility, or Mist Form your Weapon and Spell Damage is increased by 300 for 6 seconds), so leaving mistform has to be different from entering mistform, but leaving mistform misses the command to leave immunity vs failsafe CCs (see posts above) like petrify.
If this is not possible then pls be so kind! to answer here and explain why it is not possible or otherwise pls invest some time to fix this mechanic which is imo an important core mechanis as it is an ability amd even more so because this bug is already many months if not years in the game and i identified and explained the cause of the bug already 5 weeks ago.

That being said I did notice this weekend that I could not Fossilize quite often and was wondering why it was greyed out. This post thread was a very interesting read. While Fossilize was greyed out I did notice I could claw them in place as that ability was not effected by whatever was stopping Fossilize. Just wanted to pass that along. XBNA
I`ve been going into Cryodiil here lately and have been hit with Fossilized several times. My remedy is Slippery, if you have trouble putting Fossilize on gamers then they are probably using slippery. Don`t forget the Crowd Control Immunity timer.
