Instant Respawn Jute

There's currently a fairly major issue with a lot of jute nodes instantly respawning in starter areas. There's 2 bots at each node, instantly harvesting them. The node spawn script seems to always keep a Jute active somewhere. I posit they're camping every node on the island and instantly harvesting them, thus forcing the nodes to instantly reappear as an exploit.

At any rate, please go out of your way to report these bots. Right now they are farming no doubt thousands of raw jute in relatively short order, at this rate.

The amount of gold they can make off this is insane. @Zenimax - if you want to strike another blow in the war on bots, I suggest shutting down these bugged nodes A.S.A.P. like your lives depend on it.

Not just jute, there are a couple of iron nodes that constantly respawn.

Why-oh-Why don't they make nodes appear randomly? Why do they appear in exactly the same spot every time? It would solve a lot of these problems.

I have seen several people just standing at nodes, I was wondering if they weren't just trolls and had the loot window open for the node but just standing there so no one else could grab it. Now it is clearer to me.

I found this extremely odd as well.

That's one convention from other games they really should have maintained.

I spotted one of these nodes in Stonefell and reported the bot using it, then came by later and an invisible bot was harvasting it.

Pretty please people, use the find to see if something you are thinking of posting is already posted n+1 times. If so then contribute to post already created before creating your own.

There is no such thread in this sub-forum, not on any recent pages at any rate. Many people _only_ read this sub-forum, as it's the unofficial general forum.

I know it's sometimes amusing for us to make posts just to be snarky, but "please please", as you say, spare us all from such pointless drivel. This thread served to stir up some discussion -- what point does your post serve?

Yep found 15 or more in stonefalls including one making a round after guar, don't know if it was a bot or not but it did follow the same pattern, once it made the kill it would go back to its path.
Oh and I did join in with another player trying to bring a Betty over and disturbing their operation. The guy took over one of the bots and just said he would just move. That's when I noticed another batch of bots around the jute.

Hah someone was autoharvesting the node when I logged in a bit ago and I reported them. While reporting them a bot in coldharbour rags logged in to harvest the same node.

Now after the search one can contribute to thread already created lifting it up to the recent topics list for everyone to notice. There are few hot topics that constantly creates new threads that it is hard to try to follow up situation because of n+1 threads. And also gets boring to read every hour new thread about this is gamebreaking instant jute spawning.

It's rather ironic for a forum police like yourself to try to enforce one aspect of netiquette, to the point of inanity while simultaneously breaking another. But then, irony is typically lost on the subject.

This sub-forum.

The vast majority of us never read anything other than this sub-forum, and server status/developer posts. Obviously I can't back this with statistics, but looking around makes it pretty apparent. This is the unofficial general forum, and if it doesn't get posted here, a lot of people won't see it.
